Summer learning students study the water cycle

Students at the The Alberta School of Performing Arts have been studying the water cycle. They made water filters using a coffee filter, charcoal, sand and rocks. These STEM activities give students hands on learning opportunities and build their knowledge base in a variety of topics.

Naomi Stines "Inspires Excellence" at TASPA

Naomi Stines was chosen as the Inspiring Excellence Award Recipient for The Alberta School of Performing Arts. The award, sponsored by Townsquare Media and CAPS Tuscaloosa, recognizes one student per year from each TCS school for their outstanding character. 

Teachers described Naomi as "a ray of sunshine" who gives 100% daily. 

Naomi said she tries to do her best every day to make others feel like they belong. She dreams of being a detective or a teacher when she grows up.
