Abel Phillips, Visual Arts

Mr. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture and a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education. In his 14 years as an educator, he has been named the Nick’s Kids Teacher of the Year, MLK Jr. Elementary Teacher of the Year, and the West Alabama Teacher of the Month! Mr. Phillips has been a TASPA star for years. His students have won numerous awards over the years at local, state, national and international levels. Under his tutelage, TASPA students have won many monetary awards and have been recognized for their outstanding talents!
