Vision

Our vision for The Alberta School of Performing Arts' library and media center is to help each and every TASPA star find that one book that leads them to many more books in the future! We aspire to instill a love for reading in all who visit the library - a place where everyone is welcome!

At TASPA's library, we are dedicated to inspiring a love of reading, creativity, and discovery in every student. As a vibrant part of our performing arts community, our library serves as a stage for imagination, where stories come alive, ideas take shape, and curiosity leads the way. We strive to create an inclusive and engaging environment that encourages students from PreK through 8th grade to read widely, think critically, and express themselves with confidence. Through diverse books, hands-on learning, and opportunities for collaboration, we empower students to explore connections between literature and the arts, nurturing learners, creative thinkers, and compassionate citizens.
